The host family program in Guanajuato is the most popular housing option amongst students in our Enforex partner school. We strongly believe, and past students readily agree, that staying with a Mexican host family is the most effective way to fully immerse yourself in the local community, culture and language. Single and double rooms are available with the host family program and we will always try to accommodate students within 20-30 minutes from the school, either on foot or via public transportation. You can choose betwen half board or breakfast only meal plans.

Staff members at our Guanajuato school have carefully selected all of our participating host families to make sure that your experience is as comfortable and pleasant as possible. Please keep in mind ahead of time that the lifestyles and standards of living may be simpler than those of North America and Europe. Our host families, which vary from young families to one or two retired people, belong to the middle class or higher, but this may still mean a different way of life than what you're accustomed to. We encourage you to be willing to keep an open mind and, when necessary, to adapt to the local customs.
